Narconon Arrowhead actively participates in many local, state-wide and national community activities. The rehabilitation center trains and employs drug education specialists who deliver successful drug prevention lectures to averages of 50,000 kids and adults alike every year. Narconon Drug Prevention Specialists travel to churches, community centers, schools and groups throughout the country educating people on the dangers of addiction, and how to not get into the cycle of drug use in the first place.
Narconon Arrowhead also participates in numerous community programs and activities. Staff from Narconon Arrowhead, as well as volunteers take part in these on a daily basis, bringing a message of being drug free to everyone they are around.
Narconon Arrowhead activities include everything from attending health fairs to community concerts to a major grassroots campaign helping all of southeastern Oklahoma called Take McAlester Back that Narconon Arrowhead is helping to sponsor with many other local community groups.
Narconon Arrowhead also holds an annual holiday party for local children and a toy drive every year as well as helping with food drives for the needy throughout the year.
The community is key to a safe and drug-free environment and Narconon Arrowhead offers support to any community organization that wants to help people get off drugs.
